So how can a theory of spacetime account for a fundamental property of expansion and inflation if loops don't expand? Do you know what does expand? Ever toss a rock into a pond? It creates ripples. Ripples expand like water rings with the speed
of a wave in water of r = vt. But even if
quantum loops were said to expand like water waves, the problem is that spacetime is 3 dimensions of space and one dimension of time. An expanding ring isn't enough dimensions. So the correct answer is that spacetime is made of spheres that expand a R = speed of light * time.⏱️
Derivation of time dilation was visualized by Einstein as involving a passing train with a light radiating from the floor, to the ceiling, and back down, while an observer on the ground watched the light travel a Pythagorian pathway. The equation for this right
triangle is, (ct') ^2 = (ct) ^2 + (vt') ^2. As
derived on the time dilation page of Wikipedia,

But you don't need a light, a train or an observer. All you need are two expanding spheres, one centered on 0 m/s and one centered on v. The ripples will reproduce the geometry of spacetime. With the important note that the speed of light would be observed to be the same in both frames, if you have an observer available.🤷🏼
If it is true that spacetime is made of expanding spheres, and these
expanding spheres provide the reality of what wave functions are, then we have already unified quantum mechanics with special relativity.
These expanding spheres are continually being generated from the Planck scale. We know this because this is how the quantum vacuum behaves. We are continually being bombarded by virtual particles and virtual photons. The Casimir effect is a demonstration that two metal plates (in a vacuum) that are very close to each other, will screen out most of the virtual photons between the plates, but not screen out the virtual photons outside the plates. Since the plates are pushed together, we know that the virtual particles and virtual photons are exerting a small amount of pressure.😀
I have a hypothesis that two entangled photons have a graviton between them, and that graviton will store gravitational potential energy if the photon frequencies differ by the following
equation, h(f2 - f1) + (U2 -U1) = 0
NEWS
where h is the Planck constant, f1 and 12 are the entangled photon frequencies and U2 - U1 is the gravitational potential energy stored between the entangled photons. We can write a simple
Newtonian equation F = ma = -dU/dx
where dU = U2 - U, dx is the distance
between the two photons, and m refers to quantum states that a particle might occupy.✌️
