Prof. Loewen เป็นต้วอย่างนักวิชาการในมหาวิทยาลัยเล็กๆ แต่ผลงานเขาในหนังสือ Lies ยิ่งใหญ่เป็นหนังสือขายดีปี 1995 และครั้งที่สองปี 2007 เขาวิจารย์ตำราประวัติศาสตร์สหรัฐฯ ว่าบิดเบือนเพื่อเอาใจผู้มีอำนาจให้หนังสือขายนักเรียนได้ และผู้แต่งก็เอาชื่อตัวเองไปรับเงิน ส่วนเนือหาที่ไม่ถูกต้องก็ไม่ทักท้วง ผมพูดถึงประเทศสหรัฐฯครับ
