Prices from 9 January 2018
The price of the single journey tickets vary depending on where and how you bought it. If you buy your ticket with SL Access credit (reskassa) you get the lowest price. If you buy your ticket from a conductor onboard tramline 7 or Roslagsbanan you pay the highest price. All other forms of the single fare ticket cost the same.
Note that you cannot buy a ticket with cash or bank card onboard buses, most light rail services and on the commuter ferries. You will need SL Access credit or a mobile ticket.
SL Access credit ("reskassa")
You can add credit to an SL Access card and use that credit for pay as you go zone tickets. The minimum credit to add is 100 SEK and you can add up to 1000 SEK at a time. Credit is called "reskassa" in Swedish and you can fill up credit at SL Access vending machines, at SL Center, and at ticket barriers in the Metro and at commuter rail stations.
Fares for tickets paid with SL Access credit (reskassa):
Adult fare: SEK 31
Discounted fare: SEK 21
Tickets via app, ticket machines, ticket booth or ticket agent
Adult fare: SEK 44
Discounted fare: SEK 30

Onboard ticket sale for cash is just available on tramline 7 and Roslagsbanan.

Discounted fare: SEK 41

You can buy single use travelcards for 24 and 72 hours, or load any type of travelcard on an SL Access smart card.

You pay adult fare if you are between 20 and 64 years old. You pay the discounted fare if you are over 65 years of age, a student holding a Swedish student identity card with the SL logotype, or if you are under 20 years of age.
24 hours: SEK 125 (adult fare); SEK 85 (discounted fare)
72 hours: SEK 250 (adult fare); SEK 165 (discounted fare)
7 days*: SEK 325 (adult fare); SEK 220 (discounted fare)
* Only available with an SL Access card. If you don't have an SL Access smart card already, there will be an extra 20 SEK fee for the card itself. You can re-use an SL Access card that you have obtained at a previous visit.
