The five pool winners - Polish rookie Chemik POLICE, Russia's giant Dinamo MOSCOW and Turkey's powerhouses Fenerbahce Grundig ISTANBUL, Eczacibasi VitrA ISTANBUL and VakifBank ISTANBUL; the five pool runners-up – the reigning champion Dinamo KAZAN from Russia, Azerbaijan's Azeryol BAKU, Italy's Unendo Yamamay BUSTO ARSIZIO, Switzerland's Volero ZÜRICH and France's RC CANNES; as well as the three third-placed teams with the best records - Italy's Nordmeccanica PIACENZA, Czech Republic's Agel PROSTEJOV and Germany's DRESDNER SC, are the thirteen survivors after a total of 60 matches spread over six competition legs.

At the drawing of lots on Thursday morning, one of these teams will be announced as the organizer of the Final Four tournament, which will distribute the medals on April 4 and 5.  Hence, that team will qualify directly to the semifinals.  The other twelve will be drawn against each other to fill in the remaining three Final Four vacancies in two rounds of home-and-away playoffs between February 10 and March 13.

The two remaining third-placed teams from the five pools - Russia's Omichka OMSK REGION and France's NANTES VB, as well as the two fourth-placed teams with the best records - Azerbaijan's Rabita BAKU and Romania's Stiinta BACAU, will move over to the Challenge Round of the 2015 CEV Volleyball Cup - Women, where they will be drawn against the four winners of the quarterfinal clashes - Russia's Dinamo KRASNODAR, France's BEZIERS VB, Turkey's Galatasaray Daikin ISTANBUL and Poland's PGE Atom Trefl SOPOT.  In home-and-away fixtures between March 3 and 12, the four semifinalists of the second strongest European club tournament will be determined.
