Please correct any sentence considered wrong. I'm willing to accept my mistake.


I have found some sentences that I think they are grammatically wrong in the reading book, but I'm not sure if I misunderstand.

Please have a look at the picture posted below and look at the underlined sentences.


Is the first underlined sentence wrong?  I don't see the finite verb in the main clause.

Could anyone tell me what the subject of "is about to start" is in the second underlined sentence?
