พี่ชายมีอาการปวดหลังมาหลายปีตอนนี้อาการปวดหลังหนักจนบางครั้งนั่งไม่ได้ต้องนอนตลอดเวลา X-Ray แล้วพบว่ามีกระดูกสันหลังทรุด แต่หมอบอกว่าอายุยังน้อยยังไม่แนะนำให้ผ่าตัด ให้ลองไป MRI ดูก่อน ว่าสามารถรักษาด้วยวิธีอื่นได้ไหม ไป MRI มาเมื่อคืนเพราะตอนกลางวันคิวศูนย์ MRI เต็ม แต่ไปตอนกลางคืนเลยไม่มีหมออ่านผลให้ฟัง จึงขอให้ทางศูนย์ส่งผลอ่านให้ทาง email ผลเป็นตามด้านล่างครับ

FINDINGS:
The examination demonstrates normal signal intensity of vertebral bodies. There is no evidence of compression fracture.
There is no evidence of spondylolisthesis. There is no loss of lumbar lordosis. There is lumbar scoliosis convex to the left.There are decreased L4-5 and L5-S1 intervertebral disc space.
Loss of water signal intensity seen as low signal intensity of L4-5 and L5-S1 intervertebral discs, are identified, consistent with degenerative change
At L1-2 level, demonstrates no posterior disc protrusion, no spinal stenosis and no exiting nerve root compression.
At L2-3 level, demonstrates mild posterior disc protrusion but no spinal stenosis and no exiting nerve root compression.
At L3-4 level, demonstrates no posterior disc protrusion, no spinal stenosis and no exiting nerve root compression.
At L4-5 level, demonstrates moderate posterior disc protrusion with hypertrophy both facet joints causing narrowing both lateral canals and central canal, likely compressing both L5 traversing nerve roots
At L5-S1 level, demonstrates mild posterior disc protrusion but no significant spinal stenosis or nerve root compression.
There is no ligamentum flavum hypertrophy.
The conus medullaris ends at L 1.
The signal intensity of visualized spinal cord and cauda equina are unremarkable.
Both SI joints are unremarkable.
IMPRESSION:
- L2-3 mild posterior disc protrusion but no spinal stenosis and no exiting nerve root compression
- L4-5 moderate posterior disc protrusion with hypertrophy both facet joints causing narrowing both lateral canals and central canal, likely compressing both L5 traversing nerve roots
- L5-S1 mild posterior disc protrusion but no significant spinal stenosis or nerve root compression.
