Today I have ten adjectives to share with you. These adjectives are from the teaching of Lisa Mojsin.
Her accurate English course has been helpful to me. Therefore, I bring my homework here to do.
Some English beginners might find it worthwhile. Perhaps those who are well versed in English can assist me as well.
[Spoil] คลิกเพื่อดูข้อความที่ซ่อนไว้Vague = not clear, not specific, not clearly explained
Obsolete = no longer used, out of date
Precious = very valuable, worth a lot
Startling = surprising, a moment of fright
Resilient = strong, tough, can recover quickly
Mandatory = required by rule or by the law
Inadequate = not enough, not good enough
Worthwhile = worth the time and effort that you spend
Extraordinary = amazing, very special, exceptional
Meticulous = careful, precise, paying attention to detail
The assignment asks me to write a short essay about anything using all those adjectives.
As I am unsure what I will write, I must rely on my imagination as if it were happening in my real life.
The story goes like this:
"As a Clinical Laboratory Director in a small-town hospital in the United States, it was a
startling change for me.
The hospital employees of all departments extended me
extraordinary hospitality.
It turned out that the hospital director was a
resilient woman. Although discouraged, she stayed on the path
despite her strong belief in herself. She was also extraordinarily
meticulous and paid attention to every detail.
So it was well worth my
precious time to read her welcome statement.
I did on side inspection, looking at some laboratory procedures. Unfortunately, the explanations for every step
were
vague and hard to understand. Nevertheless, all
mandatory documents for clinical laboratory certification were in order.
Additionally,
some lab equipment was old, but
they were not obsolete and
inadequate in some departments.
Keeping up with all of this information was a
worthwhile effort."
THE END
Students are encouraged to practice composing short ten sentences (Wrong or right is fine). Do not be afraid to write as
