Samsung grossly misrepresented a 2019 82 inch 8K QLED TV to me when I purchased it as the 'latest available' model and the 'largest available' as well. However, to my surprise when the TV broke 2 weeks after I purchased it I learned to 2020 model had been available for more than a month and it was relatively the same price for 85 inches.
After a long drawn out discussion with numerous people Samsung eventually promised to give me the new TV in exchange for the broken TV, then they brought the old model and I refused it, they later asked me to keep the old model for a month and they would bring the new model to exchange with me (which made no sense at all). Finally, they asked me to pay 30,000 THB for the new model and I agreed, but they could not tell me when they would deliver it.
Then they asked if I would just like a refund for my original purchase price, and I said sure ( since the new model was on sale for less then I paid for my TV at that time ). They agreed to refund me in 30 days, but the money never came. I have tried contacting all of the 5 contacts I was dealing with at Samsung but they all say they don't work there anymore.
I'm at a loss for what to do. My TV is broken and can't be watched normally and no one is responding to me. I am almost at the point of donating it to a charity for the underprivileged and buying the correct TV myself. I'm hoping Samsung will read this and do the right thing. I paid 300,000 THB for this TV.
