Day 01 : Arrive at Leh. .Full day rest in Hotel to acclimatize the altitude 3500 meters. Night in Hotel.
Day 02 : Visit Shey Thiksay Hemis monasteries.Night in Hotel.
Day 03 : Leh – Lamayuru – leave for Lamayuru. stop at Spituk, Phyang Magnetic Hill, Sangam and Pathar Sahib. Over night at Lamayuru.
Day 04 : Lamayuru to Leh. . Visit Lamayuru monastery in the morning. After visit drive back Leh. en route visit Alchi monastery. Overnight at Leh.
Day 05 : Leh – Nubra : Wake up fresh and slightly early today to enjoy a warm breakfast. Today we cross one of the highest motorable passes in the world, called Khardung La, at an altitude 17,582ft above mean sea level. Once across we head down into one of the most picturesque areas anywhere on the planet – Nubra Valley. Snowcapped peaks, desert sand dunes with Bactrian camels, rivers, green grass and trees all greet you in the same glance! After exploring this absolutely scenic area, we stay overnight at Deluxe camp night. Meals included are Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 06 : Nubra- Pangong vis Syayok river, : The total distance on this road between Nubra to Pangong Tso is approximately 140 kms and total travel time is about 6-8 hours. Road goes through Argham and Shyok village. This road will run right next to the Shyok river and then there will be a tremendous gain in altitude. But here are sections when you drive on the river bed (makes it impossible to cross in June- July when the water flow is at peak).. Ovenright Pangong lake. Yak Camp or similar.
Day 07 : Pangong- Leh: Drive back to Leh en route visit, Thikse and Hemis monasteries, Thikse monastery It is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery of the Yellow Hat School (Gelugpa) located on top of a hill, approximately 19 kilometres east of Leh in Ladakh, India. It is noted for its resemblance to the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet. It is 25 km from Leh.
Hemis monastery is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery of the Drukpa Lineage,locatedin Hemis, Ladakh 45 km from Leh, the monastery was built in 1672 by the Ladakhi king SenggeNamgyal. The annual Hemis festival honoring Padmasambhava is held here in june or in july .Hemis monastery is 40 km from Leh..Overnight Leh.
