wonder if anyone
can really change
change in oneself
it feels quite strange

like the same person
but in different shoes
and wonder how long
shall pay for the clues

is there anybody
to hear the voice
know that will always
have to make a choice

but what didn’t hear
may get you in the end
all that you see
result of what you send

colors splash against
of black and white
what appeared as darkness
now is ..... light

everything you see
and everything you do
all join together
and become part of you

look for the answers
yet come up with none
still prefer to stand
in the warmth of the sun

what good are the questions
if the answers aren’t right
what good is the sun
if you can’t see the light

and when sunset comes
it's time to retire
and will find comfort
here beside the fire

can’t change anything
if you really don’t try
and can’t see the truth
if you live in a lie
