The story takes place in a fictional galaxy full of alien creatures and droids (intelligent robots). The good Jedi use the "Force" to protect the Empirr against Darth Vader and the "dark side." The hero,Luke Skywalker and his new allies-Han Solo,Chewbacca,Obi-Wan Kenobi,C-3PO,and R2-D2----attempt to rescue a rebel leader ,Princess Leia,from the hands of the Empire.
