Tahith Chong is set to move to Old Trafford this summer to join the Man Utd academy.

And the Dutch teenager has received a United cake to celebrate. The 16-year-old has agreed to leave Feyenoord - where has been involved in the youth set up since he was 10 - to take up a place in United's academy.

He announced the switch on Instagram after changing his profile to 'future player of Manchester United' - although he is yet to formally unveiled by the club.

Chong's arrival is set to be the first of a number of changes at youth level following Nicky Butt's appointment as academy cheif.

The former United and England midfielder has already revealed he is eyeing up 'the best young players in Europe'.

He said in March: "“It’s the same as any other club. We all want to attract the best young players in Europe, at whatever age, and we’re exactly the same."
