หนังสือเล่มนี้มีชื่อว่า Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage ชื่อภาษาไทยว่า ชายไร้สีกับปีแสวงบุญของเขา
ผู้แต่งคือ มุราคามิค่ะ
I have heard of a well-known writer Murakami for a long time. Many people told me that his books are difficult to read and understand. That makes me afraid to read his books. I postponeed reading them for 3 years. ( What a pity!) However, luckily, I met a Korean traveler in September this year. We had talked for a while and found that we have many things in common. Finally, he gave me a book as a souvenir. The book’s name is ‘Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki.’ Its cover is torn and worn-out. I asked him why its appearance is very terrible. He laughed and told me that the reason is that he carried the book around with him in order to read when he traveled alone. Plus, he told me the book is a melancholic story.
I was really appreciated when I received any book as a gift because I am a book lover. I am the type of girl who prefers getting a book to a bouquet. However, I didn’t have enough time to finish reading it because I had to focus on my studying first ( I met the traveler when my final exams were coming). So, I decided to read it in my school break, which is in December.
After I finished taking exams, I picked up the book and abandoned the world for two days. I really absorbed in the content of the book. The book is painful but also beautiful.
The book is about Tsukuru Tazaki, a man who thinks that he is colorless and empty like an empty vessel. He was cut off from his four close friends when he was a sophomore without telling the reason. He had kept the curiosity with him for 16 years and lived his life with depression. He haven’t had any friend because he was afraid that he would be cut off again. After he met a woman whom he liked, this turned to be a problem in his romantic relationship with him. So, the woman told him that he had to go back to the history to find the truth because that is the only way to solve the problems he has. Finally, Tsukuru decided to contact his four old friends again in order to find the truth of banishing him. And that makes him know a tragic story.
I really like this book since it gives me the feeling of uncertainty of many things, the feeling of being alone in the big city where you live far from your family, the feeling that you have no one that can truly understand you, the feeling that you don’t know what you are living for. All these feelings happened to me as well . I mean if you look from the outside, Tsukuru and I look like we both have a good life. We have a good family. We receive a chance to study in good institutions. But, still, inside us has something broken that makes us feel really lonely sometimes and feel like no one can understand it. Luckily, I am not as depressed as him.
However, what I don’t like is I think the writer uses too much of the sexual words that pretty lower maternity. For example, there are too much of the word ’ breasts’, which Tsukuru used to describe his female friends.
But overall, I think the book is beautiful written. The writer doesn’t give exact details that make readers be able to know what is actually happen in the reality, which makes reader question themselves and makes the book has a loose end. I think that reading the book is like I am sitting in a bench in the fall season and watched leafs gradually falling from the trees because the writer gradually disclosed the sad truths. The book really makes me recalls of many things in my life and it makes me know that “ we can’t erase our histories, we can only accept them and keep on moving.” So, even though it is the first book of Murakami I read, it will be definitely not the last book of Murakami I will read further.
ลองเขียนรีวิวหนังสือเป็นภาษาอังกฤษดูค่ะ ช่วยดูภาษาให้หน่อยนะคะว่ามีข้อผิดพลาดเยอะไหม ขอบคุณมากๆค่ะ
