Petra Kvitova has qualified for the WTA Finals, and will be joining Simona Halep, Garbiñe Muguruza and Maria Sharapova in Singapore. Four spots remain up for grabs and this week could begin to paint a more clear picture.

Two other players have a chance to qualify this week - Angelique Kerber by winning the title in Hong Kong and Agnieszka Radwanska by winning the title in Tianjin.

Here is a look at the upcoming matches that will affect the Live RTS Leaderboard this week:

Hong Kong: Venus Williams vs. Wang Yafan (Thursday); Angelique Kerber vs. Kurumi Nara (Thursday)
Tianjin: Karolina Pliskova vs. Timea Babos (QF, Friday); Agnieszka Radwanska vs. Wang Qiang (Thursday)

Flavia Pennetta's opening round loss in Tianjin has opened the door for Venus Williams. Set to play her next match on Thursday, Venus needs to reach the final this week in Hong Kong to move into the Top 8. If Williams wins the title in Hong Kong, she could move as high as No.6 and then all eyes will be on Moscow as Kerber, Lucie Safarova and Carla Suárez Navarro are all entered to play, with wildcards pending.

Pliskova, who will need a wildcard to play Moscow, needs to reach at the semifinals in Tianjin to add points this week and then at least reach the final of Moscow in order to crack the Top 8:

If 1r through R-Up in Tianjin, then Title at Moscow

If Title in Tianjin, then at least reach Moscow Final

As a reminder Suárez Navarro would need to reach the Moscow final to have a chance at qualifying while Belinda Bencic, the only other player still in contention, would need a wildcard and win Moscow to have a chance.

Below is a list of the 16th best point total for each player. In order to add points, each player would need to surpass this amount. For example, Kerber will need to reach the finals in Hong Kong to add 70 points (180 points for Final, minus 110 points):
