Thai 1.Entrelacs Eyeshadow Palette
The gorgeous imprints that look like laces is actually inspired by the stained glass windows of Aubazine Abbey. I know…This makes it that much more difficult to dip your brush/applicator on the surface of these eyeshadows.
Packaging: Comes in Chanel’s signature black lacquered palate with big mirror and two applicators.
Applicators: One double-ended sponge applicator and one two-way sponge-and-brush applicator. I’d recommend you use a full size brush for a more professional application. Nevertheless the given applicators are decent and shouldn’t be tossed away (especially the one with the brush; the hair’s actually natural hair and pretty soft as well.)

Colors: 5 colors
- 4 satiny shades= vanilla, medium brown, dark plum-brown, champagne pink
- 1 matte shade= malt brown
Texture: soft and silky. Glides on the lids very well.

Although this is not the limited edition palette like the one above, it’s actually the one I prefer to use for to create a mossy-green-khaki-toned smoky eyes with. Packaging: Comes in Chanel’s signature black lacquered palate with big mirror and two white-double-ended sponge applicators.
Applicators: The sponge is actually great for this baked-eyeshadow quad. Reason being, these eyeshadows are not made of talc (powder) but synthetic mica. They are pure pigmented that are baked into an eyeshadow-like form. Using the sponge applicator to pick of these pigment gives a very intense and accurate pay-off of colors form the pods to your lids.

Colors: 4 colors (all are satiny/luminous shades with iridescent quality as oppose to a shimmery finish)
- Khaki green
- Champagne (beige-y) pink

- Dark moss green How to use: at the back of the palette….Chanel was generous enough to let us know which shades are designed for which step/purpose.
Texture: Soft and creamy, and very easy to blend. It’s also easily picked up with a brush, but with a more intense color payoff, use the given sponge applicator, as sponge applicator do not hold the product onto itself compared to brushes (even the synthetic ones)
Pigmentation: 9/10 (mostly because they’re pure pigments and not talc-based like the limited edition palette). 3. Le Volume de Chanel Mascara in 80 écorces
The original Le Volume de Chanel is in black, but from the palettes in this collection, I think using brown would suit the color combination form the eye palettes more than deep black mascara. Also, dark brown mascara bring out the femininity in the smoky-eye look compared to deep black, but if you want dramatic lashes, go for the deep-black mascara. Packaging: Glossy-black-lacquered mascara tube.
The wand: Big fat wand that does not hold too much mascara on it that it clumps the lashes during application. The design of the wand is inspired by snowflakes. If you look closely, the wand is actually a bunch of snowflake-shaped disks stacked one on top of another. And the pointed tip of the wand allows for close application in the inner (short) lashes as well. Color:

Amount of Product: 6 grams
Formula: Fast drying, which is great because you won’t have to wait for it to dry before you could return to blinking normally. I would say that even though Chanel claims that it also lengthens you lashes, it’s more of a volumizing mascara.
4.Illusion D’Ombre Velvet long wear luminous matte eyeshadow in 106 Fleur de Pierre
Packaging: Glass pot with classic Chanel black-lacquered cap.
Price: 36 USD
Applicator: sponge applicator. (different from the orange shade, which has a slightly different—just ‘luminous’—finish)
Texture and Formula: It look spongey, but turns out to be very silky and has a powdery-cream feel to it once blend onto the lids.
Shade: Black with a gun metal hue.
Pigmentation: 7/10. It’s perfect for a base, but it does not have the same intensity fo say a cream eyeshadow.
Effect: There’s a sheen to it, and there’s also more of a ‘halo’ effect instead of the usual satin/luminous effect from eyeshadow that has simmer in it. This might be due the very finely milled golden-bronze-platinum ‘reflections’ (or shimmery particles) in this formula. I actually prefer to use this as a base, especially if I’m going for the black smoky eyes, because the silvery-gun-metal hue in this will being a little more edge to my black smoky eye look. 5.Illusion D’Ombre long wear luminous eyeshadow in 116 Rouge-Gorge

Texture and Formula: I would say that it’s the same as the black shade mentioned above.
Pigmentation: I think the pigmentation could have been more intense, or more precisely, the color looks very vibrant in the pot, but more dulled down once it’s picked up and applied on the lids. This is perfect for day-wear, which I think is what Chanel is going for. However, if you’re looking for an extremely vibrant bright-brick-orange shade, you might find the pay-off from this product disappointing.
Effect: A sheen on the lid. It’s actually very sophisticated when worn with a simple feline flick, as there’s that slightly wet-look going on on the lids from the sheen that the reflections in this formula creates. You won’t look like a clown!
6.Stylo Yeux Waterproof long-lasting eyeliner in 918 Ardent Packaging: retractable pen
Price: 32 USD
Formula: Waterproof (Not smudge-proof though. I tried rinsing it with water, it did not budge, but when I use a tissue to rub it off….it comes off pretty easily) If you are going to rub your eyes a lot, then I’d steer away from using this product, because 1) it’s not cheap to be constantly reapplying through out the day, 2) why would you want to have to worry if you’re make up is still intact?). One good thing about this being waterproof but not smudge-proof, is that it’ll be easy to remove. This meant less chance of its the residual being left on your lids, hence, not aging the skin around your eyes or cause irritation if you did not remove your make up properly. Texture: Very creamy
Color: orangey-bronzed shade. If you’re going to create a bronzed goddess look, please use this eyeliner it’s such a pleasure to apply and the color is amazing for a warm-toned look.
Pigmentation: 10/10 loving this shade!
7.Rouge Coco Shine hydrating sheer lipshine in 112 téméraire Packaging: the classic balck-lacqured lipstick tube
Price: 36 USD
Texture and Formula: smooth, creamy,glides ont eh lisp effortlessly. Providese hydration, actually Chanel claims that this formula provides up to 8 hours of hydration, and makes the lips look plumped and full
Pigmentation: 10/10 love it! Effect: since it provides hydration, it gives a youthful look to the overall complexion. I think sometimes apply a lipstick formula that is hydrating (wet-look) for dark lipstick shades could bring vitality to the overall look and still keep that sophistication in tact
