Dear General Motor Thailand (GM Thailand)
You should have shown your responsibility if you want to be successful in this country at least to your customers.
I am writing this complaint letter to bring your attention that I am not satisfied with your product with regard to ongoing problems with the dry up of the oil engine every 3,000km-4,000km.
I bought Chevrolet Trailblazer LTZ1 Duramax 2.8lts. from one of your dealers, PraNaKorn YonTraKarn on Vipavadeerangsit Rd. Bangkok ,Thailand at the beginning of 2014. Just 8,000km from the day I bought, there was sensor indicating “Oil pressure low Stop Engine”. I brought my car the dealer where I bought it. The mechanics there told me that it was normal for a new engine to get the engine oil dried up then they asked me to allow them to do the oil changing since it was close to the first 10,000km which the engine needs get the oil change and I said yes. After that at 15,000km and again at 22,00km and 28,000km history repeated itself which was refilling it for me. At this time, I was given a engine oil measure work sheet and was asked to collect the oil level every 300km. They insisted that GM Thailand would need this information to diagnose my case and I agreed to do so.
Couple of months went by, at 31,000km, 34,000km, 39,000km everything was the same but at 39,000km there was no sign of oil engine in the tank. There was no oil appeared on the long oil measuring stick and it was even worse when the sensor did not show up. There was no warning at all about the dry up of the oil engine.
I am extremely disappointed with this car and the service I received from the car dealer.
As you know, I had to book appointments to get in the line for service that I should not have to.
It is clearly stated in the owner manual that I have to bring my car for service every 20,000km not every 3 or 4 thousand km. If my sincere request as your good customer is important to you, please at least fix the problem, please do not let me keep oil engine level record until my car is out of warrantee. If you cannot fix it, please replace the new engine for me. I do not want go to the car dealer to have oil refilling every 3 or 4 thousand km anymore.
I have been your customer for many years and I will continue to be your good customer for the years to come.
I would appreciate it if you could help me fix or get the engine replacement for me.
All the mechanics at PraNaKorn YonTraKarn on Vipavadeeransit Rd. know my case. or you can contact Mr. Nikom Donmanuch, the head mechanic or Mr.Nitipon or Mr.Eakapoth. The last two persons also know my case very well.
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours sincerely,
