ถือว่าปิดฤดูกาลที่แล้วของซีรี่ส์ปี 2014-2015 ไปกันเรียบร้อย และมีการประกาศออกมาแล้วว่าเรื่องไหนได้ไปต่อบ้างนะครับ สำหรับกระทู้นี้จริง ๆ แค่เอาข้อมูลมาให้ดูว่าความนิยมของซีรี่ส์เรื่องต่าง ๆ เป็นยังไงบ้าง โดยตัวเลขที่ดูหลัก ๆ จะมีสองตัวคือ ตัวเลขเรตติ้งของผู้ชมในช่วงอายุ 18-49 ปี ซึ่งใช้เป็นตัวบอกความนิยมของกลุ่มเป้าหมายของการโฆษณาทางทีวี และอีกตัวเลขคือตัวเลขจำนวนผู้ชมรวมซึ่งจะบอกให้ทราบว่ามีคนดูซีรี่ส์แต่ละเรื่องมากน้อยแค่ไหน

สำหรับฤดูกาลที่แล้วมีซีรี่ส์ใหม่แซงหน้าแชมป์เก่าอย่าง The Big Bang Theory ไปก็คือ Empire ซึ่งเป็นซีรี่ส์ที่ดังมาก ๆ ในอเมริกา และมีซีรี่ส์ใหม่อีกเรื่องที่ก็โด่งดังและเป็นกระแสมากนั่นก็คือ How to Get Away with Murders นอกนั้นก็เป็นซีรี่ส์เจ้าประจำที่เป็นที่นิยมมาแล้วหลายปี อย่าง Modern Family, Scandal, NCIS, และ Grey's Anatomy เป็นต้น
