ประกาศผลไปแล้วเมื่อคืน กับเวทีประกาศรางวัลภาพยนตร์ที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดในเกาะอังกฤษ โดย Boyhood ตัวเต็งจ๋าเข้าชิงเพียงแค่ 5 รางวัล แต่คว้ากลับบ้านไปได้ถึง 3 รางวัลใหญ่ คือ Best Picture, Best Director และ Best Supporting Actress โดยในสาขา Best Picture นั้นเบียดเอาชนะ Birdman ไปได้ เริ่มสนุกแล้ว ผลัดกันแพ้ผลัดกันชนะมาตลอดสำหรับสองเรื่องนี้ ส่วน Best British Film ตกเป็นของ The Theory of Everything

โดยสถิติล่าสุด ภาพยนตร์ที่ชนะ Best Picture จาก BAFTA ได้คว้ารางวัล Best Picture ใน Academy Awards 6 ปีติดต่อกันแล้ว ก็ต้องมารอดูกันว่า Boyhood จะทำสำเร็จหรือไม่ จะชนะ Birdman ได้อีกครั้งไหม
