Many people asked me how I achieved the perfect score of 990 on the TOEIC. My technique is simple: TOEIC is the easiest test compared with SAT, TOEFL, IELTS, CU-TEP, TU-GET.
TOEIC Reading part contains only simple questions. If you don't get the perfect score, it doesn't mean that your grammar or reading skill is insufficient. It just means that you couldn't complete the test in time.
Honestly speaking, once in my life I did get lower scores than 900. I got only 875 the first time I took the test because I couldn't finish the Reading part in time and left some answers blank. After that, I learned to scan the reading part faster and I've never got anything lower than 900 since then.
While TU-GET requires a lot more advanced skills, TOEIC just requires efficient time management. TOEIC Reading requires scanning and skimming, not Reading as the title suggests. You don't have enough time to READ it. Neither do I.
I'd say TOEIC is a kind of exam that's "เก่งไม่กลัว กลัวช้า." That's it.
