Key points:

• Helene Rousseaux was the top scorer in the match with 23 points. She was the only Belgian player to reach double figures.
• Zeng Chunlei (19 points) and Li Jing (15 points) led China.
• China led in blocking points (10-9) and service points (4-3).
• It was the first meeting between China and Belgium in the World Grand Prix; they have never met in any of the other major tournaments – Olympic Games, World Championships or World Cup.
• China and this year's Final Six hosts Japan are the only two nations to have competed in all 22 editions of the World Grand Prix.
• Belgium won their previous three World Grand Prix matches. They have never won four in a row.

Key points:

•    Gozde Sonsirma was the top scorer in the match with 23 points while her teammate Neriman Ozsoy had 21. Brazil’s top scorer was Tandara Caixeta with 20 points.
•    Turkey had 12 service points to Brazil’s one.
•    Brazil only dropped two sets in their nine Preliminary Round matches.
•    Brazil had won both of their previous World Grand Prix matches against Turkey.
•    Brazil had won their last 11 matches against European opposition in the World Grand Prix Finals, since losing 3-1 to Italy in the 2007 World Grand Prix Finals.
•    Turkey reached the finals for the second time after a third-place finish in 2012. They came in eighth in 2013 and seventh on their debut in 2008.
•    Turkey have now won World Grand Prix matches against five of the six former winners, Brazil, China, Cuba, Russia and USA. The Netherlands are the other former winners.
•    Turkey have won four of their five five-set matches this season.
•    Brazil have won gold or silver in nine of the last 10 World Grand Prix editions, finishing fifth in 2007.

•    Russia outblocked Japan 14-4; Japan outaced Russia 9-3.
•    Japan have now won 10 of 26 matches against Russia in the World Grand Prix.
•    Russia defeated Japan 3-1 in this year's group phase.
•    Russia had won all four previous meetings with Japan in World Grand Prix Finals (1997, 2001, 2006 and 2009).
