Atletico Madrid have reached a "verbal agreement" with Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic over a move to the Estadio Vicente Calderon.

Mandzukic, 28, is set to leave the German champions after just two seasons in which he scored 47 goals and won two Bundesliga titles and the Champions League.
"We've reached an verbal agreement with Atletico, and Mario Mandzukic has also reached a verbal agreement," Bayern sporting director Matthias Sammer said at a news conference called to unveil new signings Sebastian Rode and Robert Lewandowski. "So, even with nothing signed yet, I can all but confirm the transfer."
Atletico are looking for a new striker this summer after agreeing a deal for the sale of Diego Costa to Chelsea.
According to German tabloid Bild, Mandzukic is set to sign a five-yearcontract with the Spanish champions, who will pay a reported 22 million euros for the Croatia international.
Mandzukic will leave Bayern Munich after two seasons, in which his 33 league goals helped the Bavarians win two domestic doubles. He was also on target in the 2013 Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund, as Bayern won the trophy for the first time since 2001.
"We'd like to thank Mandzukic for his achievements at the club," Sammer said, and played down talk of a rift between Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola and the forward, who had been omitted from the DFB-Pokal final squad in May.
"You can always discuss a couple of things," he added. "But I have only positive things to say about him. We, the club, thank Mario."
