Philip Seymour Hoffman has been found dead in his Manhattan report, The Wall Street Journal is reporting.
The report says that Hoffman -- who was just 46 years old -- was found in the West Village apartment this afternoon and that the New York Police Department is investigating it.
Hoffman won an Academy Award for his work in "Capote" and found subsequent Oscar nominations for "Charlie Wilson's War," "Doubt" and "The Master." He was just at the Sundance Film Festival two weeks ago with both "A Most Wanted Man" and "God's Pocket," while Showtime recently gave an order a half-hour comedy starting the actor, "Happyish."
