“Chicago PD” จะเป็นซีรี่ส์ที่แยกตัวออกมาจาก Chicago Fire
ซึ่งเป็นเรื่องราวการทำงานของตำรวจเมืองชิคาโค เขต 21 ซึ่งแบ่งเป็น 2 กลุ่มที่ทำงานแตกต่างกัน
คือชุดตำรวจในเครื่องแบบและชุดตำรวจสืบสวน
