ข่าวที่ 1 = Nattawut gets huge bonus - SUPHAN BURI : The gold medal won by Nattawut Ratanaprarom of Samut Songkhram is the most glittering prize at the 42nd Nationnal Games. Nattawut will receive up to 200,000 bath in bonus from winning gold in an air sport,Samut Songkhram officials said yesterday. According to Samut Songkhram sports official Surapong Kanjanee, businessman Somsak Siritham, former president of samut Songkhram Football Club, will give a champion 100,000 bath, a silver medallist 70,000 bath and a bronze winner 50,000 bath. A gold medallist will also get another 40,000 bath from the provincial sports agency, said Surapong. Some private firms have promised to give successful athletes financial rewards and Natawut should get about 150,000-200,000 bath,he said. "We treat our athletes well," Surapong said. "They stay at a good hotel instead of the ones arranged by the hosts." Samut Songkhram have only 27 athletes in seven sports in Suphan Buri. They expect to win two more golds in judo and petanque. With six days to go Suphan Buri have been unstoppable and are likely to win the overall title. They got 22 gold medals yesterday for a total of 88,well ahead of Bangkok.
