Hi everyone, I graduated from a law school in Thailand and have just moved to USA, living legally as a permanent resident.
Now Im having a hard time adjusting myself to the environment here. Even Im holding an LL.B. degree from Thailand with an honor, I still feel like it is definitely not enough to get any good job here. I know that I should get more education in order to be qualified to work here. but the problem is I just don't know what to do next or which direction I should go. I actually want to be a paralegal or lawyer assistant but Im not sure about the program i should take. Should I take a paralegal program or LL.M. or JD? Honestly , I think JD would do a bit hard for me and it takes such a long time to graduate. Paralegal certificate or LL.M. would be an easier choice for me. Is anyone had been in the same situation as I am? If you could give me any suggestion , I will be very appreciate. Thank you a lot in advance.
