An Arrangement for Charging a Blast Furnace
Specifications
• The empty conveyance mass is 400 kg
• The full-load material is 1600 kg
• The conveyance is to travel up the slope at maximum speed of 5 m/s and down at a maximum speed of 10 m/s
• The stop for loading is 10s and that for unloading is 5s
• The winch drum is 2 m in diameter and is coupled to the driving motor by reduction gearing
• The maximum allowable armature current is twice the rated value
• The rotational inertia of the drum and gear referred to the motor shaft may be assumed to be equal to that of the motor
• Mechanical losses may be neglected
