During my summer break, I had gone to meditate at Itisukato temple, which is at HuaHin. On the first day of the meditation, I had to wear white and pray in the evening and during dawn. The next two weeks followed the same routine. While I was praying there, I was only able to eat two meals a day. The food that I ate was vegetarian, which had to meat in it. At first, I wanted to quit and go back home, but then the monk had told me that eating vegetarian food was good because I was not committing a sin. What surprised me over there was that I saw the revolutionary leader of a Thai political party, Who had come to the temple to ordain as a monk. What I have learned from this experience is how to let myself go and not be attached to my passions, which made me a lot happier at living my life.If I had a chance. I will go back and meditate at this temple again. Please give me your views on my impression.
