It's shrove sunday today. We must begin Lent with no anger in our heart.
We must ask forgiveness from our loved ones...for any pain we may have brought them.
Even if we do not feel any guilt. Because the absence of guilt is a lie. We are all guilty.
Guilty before our children, mothers wives before nature and our country. And if God's will is to judge
and punish us then our task is to forgive and ask for forgiveness.
Not seven times, but until seventy times seven. And I ask you today to forgive me..
your unworthy pastor, for all the sins I have committed before you.

God forgive me. Forgiveness and love. That is our answer to the greed and anger of the world
along with heartfelt prayer. But that is not all I wanted to say today.
Rumours have been spreading around the town. A girl has apparently been tured to stone.
Faith alone is not enough for us-we need miracles. An omen from God on high-a girl
with an icon in her hands.Are there not enough miracles around us already?
Is not life itself the greatest of miracles? Around us are billions of dead planets,
untouched by the hand of God. And Suddenly a single planet gives birth to life.
What more miracles do you need? Surely you are not like the Pharisee, who strain a mosqitoes and swallow a camel?

The greatest miracle on earth can be seen by all. It is the stars above us and the moral laws in our hearts. Amen
